CAMP TA-KUM-TA FUNDRAISING CONTEST

       Image

This is a contest to raise money this summer for the Kids at Camp Ta-Kum-Ta and get an experience of a life time from winning. You can also just contribute to this fund for 2014 without participating in the contest.

  • FIRST PRIZE: Win a ride on the back of a Harley and participate in the Camp Ta-Kum-Ta motorcycle rally all day event, held in September. This includes being in the motorcycle parade, banquet, and tee shirt.
  • SECOND PRIZE: Win a ride on a Harley for a month of Sundays (4 times) to church and home again.
  • THIRD PRIZE: Win a 2014 Camp Ta-Kum-Ta tee shirt & your own Harley-Davidson tee shirt to your choosing.

Tickets are $10.00 each, (10) for 75.00. The drawing will be held in early August. Winners can choose who they want to have ride the motorcycle. Second Place Winners can pick the Sundays they want to ride. If you are unable to complete (4) rides before the end of the riding season in late October, then the remaining rides can take place in 2015 season.

The goal is to raise money. It would be a great thing if our little church could raise upwards of $1000.00 for this years donation.

For all riding winners a training, safety course, and helmet will be given so that the ride is safe, comfortable, fun, and memorable. The ride to church in the morning is spectacular for getting in a spiritual mindset. And if the ride home from church happens to stop in @ Goodies Creamy Stand, then so be it. It’s about having fun.

Enter as many times as you would like. Ticket will be on sale starting in church on Sunday, May 11th. After that you can contact Drew Siegle @ 802-349-2341 or drewsiegle@hotmail or facebook.

HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE

SUNDAY, APRIL 13TH – SUNDAY, APRIL 20TH

Palm Sunday – Sunday, April 13th join the children in their Parade of the Palms on the grounds of our church, continuing the journey into the sanctuary as we remember not only the festivities of Jesus’ entrance into the city but the darkness of his passion as he journeys to the cross.

Maundy Thursday – please join with us as we remember the Last Supper of Jesus and his disciples. We will gather downstairs around the tables as Jesus did with his disciples, sharing a meal, scripture, and song on April 17th at 6:30pm. All are welcome to attend this service with the understanding that the service tends to be one of quiet reflection and will end in total darkness.

Good Friday – please be Ecumenical today and join the 5 area churches for Good Friday services April 18th  at 12pm at St. Ambrose Church.

Easter Sunday – Rejoice and celebrate as the rock is rolled away to reveal an empty tomb and a resurrected Christ. Gather on the Village Green at 6:00 AM for Sunrise Service, feel the rays of the morning sun as we greet a new day. Warm up with eggs and bacon and a cup of coffee immediately after, continuing the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection with Easter Service at 10AM in the sanctuary.
